The decade of Super Gran and Postman Pat may have a lot to answer for in the way that many adults now treat old ladies and postal workers, but a trip down memory lane is always worthwhile.

Personally, my own favourite from that time has to be SuperTed which I remember in the original Welsh on the newly formed channel S4C.  Spotty Man (I think he may have been called Sbotyn originally) was the best character! Very cool!
