Prairie Dog Goes Wild on Japanese TV Show

Remember the surprise squirrel that suddenly appeared in the photo of a pair of tourists visiting Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies?  If you need to be reminded, then here is the picture on the left.

The picture went viral in seconds (or so it seemed) and people throughout the world had fun with Photoshop, putting the squirrel in to all sorts of places (even with Prez Obama).

Well, the Japanese have done it - again.  They do not, as we might, resort to any CGI but that in my opinion makes this all the better!  Although this clip features a Prairie Dog, the results are pretty funny.  Just take a look and if you don't snigger, then there must be something wrong!

Want the sequel?  Here it is!

I think you've got your memes mixed up. First there was Dramatic Squirrell (which wasn't a squirrel or a Chipmunk, but a ground hog/prarie dog), then much later came the photo of a chipmunk which had taken an interest in the camera of two hikers... The Japanese videos are using the former...
